Co-Creating the Commons

Boulder, Colorado in 1900 (Wikimedia Commons)

What are the common resources that our community depends on? How do we nourish our commons? How do we protect them? On April 6, networks of commoners in and around Boulder will come together to share their strategies, their challenges, and new opportunities for collaboration. All are welcome to join.

Michel Bauwens, founder of the P2P Foundation, will discuss the “Chamber of the Commons” concept that is starting to take hold around the world, followed by short presentations by local organizations and a chance to think together about strengthening our commons-supporting networks. We’ll also hear from:

April 6, 2016, 6 – 8 pm
Impact Hub Boulder
1877 Broadway, Suite 100
$10 recommended investment to cooperatively cover the costs of the event (or $5 for those who need a subsidy), payable at the door.

On April 5, also, don’t miss Bauwens’ lecture on “Media for a New World System” at CU.

Made possible by the support of CU Boulder’s Department of Media Studies, CU Boulder’s Innovative Seed Grant, Boulder ULab, and Impact Hub Boulder.
